Spring has arrived, and the SCC flower farm is alive with vibrant shades of green and delightful little plants finding their homes for the season! We are excited to share the latest happenings from our little paradise, where our love for gardening shines through the blooms.
Planting Annuals: A Colorful Endeavor
Every spring, we look forward to adding vibrant annuals to the flower farm. This year, we chose an additional array of cold hardy varieties, including snapdragons, stock, and strawflower. These flowers not only great cut flowers, but thrive in regions with low spring temps.

Grow & Gather: Floral Workshop
We are looking forward to hosting a one-of-a-kind event here on the flower farm this fall!
Harvest, design and dine at a Stillwater, MN flower farm September 30, 2025! An event filled with dahlias and seasonal blooms, inspiration, sustainable practices, portfolio images and a business info Q+A with Ashley built into one beautiful day with like-minded creatives.
Create your own bridal bouquet and get hands-on experience creating a lush floral arch installation with local blooms from our flower farm. Get a tour of the farm and the opportunity to harvest dahlias from our fields. A catered lunch is also included as well as professional photos for your portfolio.

Dahlia Tuber Shipping
Each winter we look forward to our annual Dahlia Tuber Sale. This year we had another successful sale in January and spent our off season packing, boxing, and shipping tubers. We love spreading the joy that flowers bring!
A Season of Growth Ahead
As we embrace planting annuals and sending out the final dahlia tuber shipments, I’m reminded of the joy gardening brings to our lives. Whether it’s creating a new flower bed or ensuring proper plant care, every task contributes to a season filled with color and growth. May your own gardens flourish, and may you find joy in every aspect of gardening! Happy planting!
