Peaches’n Cream vs. Stawberry’n Cream???

Peaches n Cream…Strawberry and Cream…What’s the difference??

That’s the question I asked until I grew both varieties and have found first hand how they differ.

Strawberry and cream Dahlia is a very prolific bloomer for us. The pinky shades of the bloom, long strong stems and free flowering style also make it a good choice for the middle to back of the garden. They also are known to change color from the beginning of the season to the end based on light and soil conditions. We found them to be longer lasting and easy to play with due to the medium size bloom. These have been big dahlia tuber producers as well.

Peaches and Crem Dahlia is a slower bloomer for us, which is a bit of a bummer since the peachy shades of the bloom are so desirable. They also change color from beginning of the season to the end. From a deeper color blend to a lighter color blend. We love all the shades of this charmer! Due to our cooler climate this variety does not produce as many dahlia tubers for us, which allows them to be more in demand from our clients.

Funny thing we realized is that there is a time during the season with the changing shades of each variety, when they look very similar,  however not at the same time.

I suggest you try them both and decide for yourself if you can. They are both absolutely stunning varieties that I would not want to be without.
