Heat Wave

The heat is back, and so are we! With warmer days comes the return of our morning harvest rituals, out among increasingly bountiful blooms. This week brought some fun new pickin's to the buckets: Rudbeckia, Celosia, Queen Anne's Lace, and Quickfire Hydrangeas!

We're especially smitten with our Flamingo Feather Celosia — it holds its color and quirky texture beautifully, even long after it's cut. We've also been plucking Feverfew, a darling little bloom from the daisy family with white petals and a golden center. Nicknamed "medieval aspirin" for its centuries-long use in treating fevers and pain, it's a sweet reminder that so much of what we grow doubles as garden medicine!
