It’s all in the soil prep!

With all the dry days this week, we are planning ahead and prepping our beds for planting in a few weeks. Here you can see the 7 rows ready for summer annuals in our “North Fence Field“. If you notice 2 different colored beds... We are testing 2 brands of compost this year to see which allows the best performance in the blooms. The lighter one has a higher percentage of cow manure and the darker one has a higher percentage of black dirt. Kinda funny how dirt (cow poo) gets us excited 😂
