About SCC Flower Farm
After 18 years of designing and maintaining award winning gardens for my clients, I have realized that I need to find a way to bring the beauty of flowers to more to enjoy.
Last winter as I hibernated from a fulfilling gardening season I stumbled on the benefits of flowers and how they brighten, cheer and refresh people! The beauty may be visual but they also literally change the chemicals in the brain to feel happy, satisfied and ultimately ENLIGHTENED! I needed some happy in my life as the dreary winter edged on and decided to commit to a weekly practice of bringing fresh flowers into my home! I enjoyed the arrangement in my kitchen so much that it soon grew to my one in my living room, my dining room, my bathroom and my bedroom!
I fell in Love! I was addicted in a way I had not experienced in a long time! The experience was so powerful, I knew I needed to do more with it!
I decided Sarah’s Cottage creations needs to grow FRESH CUTTING FLOWERS to share with the greater public. 2018 spring and summer we began clearing, prepping and planting our 3 acre Flower Farm at our property in Stillwater. We have kept it a secret until NOW! We are finally ready to share and begin spreading the cheer in spring 2019!
May you all experience the JOY a flower brings!
